As a construction consultant, Nippon Engineering Consultants adopts a corporate philosophy of contributing to the “Construction and conservation of this beautiful and attractive national land” and the “Creation of our safe and comfortable living environments.” In order to realize this philosophy, to be widely trusted by society is essential. Based on this recognition, we, Nippon Engineering Consultants, set forth our Charter of Corporate Behavior that each employee should adopt as their standard, and will fulfill our social mission and continue fair and appropriate corporate activities.

Mission and responsibility as a construction consultant

Fair and appropriate corporate activities

  • We will conduct fair, transparent, free, and appropriate competition and transactions.
  • We firmly confront antisocial forces and organizations that pose a threat to the order and safety of civil society.
  • We will conduct accounting in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, accounting standards and company regulations to ensure the reliability of financial reporting.
  • We will not give any gifts, entertainment, or convenience that exceeds social norms to business-related persons or individuals. In addition, we will not give illegal gifts, entertainment or convenience to civil servants or similar persons.

Disclosure, management, and protection of information

  • We will communicate with various stakeholders including shareholders, investors, customers, cooperating companies, employees, and local communities, and we will disclose reasonable corporate information in a timely and fair manner.
  • We will strive to protect and manage corporate confidential information such as our assets, intellectual property, trade secrets, etc. and personal information, and handle the assets, intellectual property, and confidential information, etc. of third parties appropriately.
  • We understand that it is illegal to buy and sell stocks, etc. using internal information learned through our duties, and we will not allow or carry out insider trading.
