The Tanaka Award is awarded to bridge projects, as well as others that are related to newly constructed and reconstructed structures. Winners are selected after taking design, planning, construction, and operation and maintenance into consideration.

The Shinminato Bridge spans over the Shinminato Harbor and connects to the Fushiki-Toyama Harbor Road. It is the largest cable-stayed bridge on the west coast of Japan. We were responsible for all of the main designs from the preliminary bridge engineering design, to the preliminary design and detailed design, as well as for field measurements and analyses while the bridge was being constructed.
